Pair with foods of those textures
Additional uses include pre-feeding exercises. These are strictly for sensory seekers working on accepting a variety of textured orally or feeding aversion or sensory integration issues.
Can be used for self presentation. For oral seekers, children needing more stimulation than parents can provide daily.
Clean with mild soap and water between uses.
We recommend the bite-tube hierarchy for jaw strengthening and mobility.
I purchased these for my son with autism. He is an oral sensory seeker and frequently chews on his shirt and sucks on his fingers. He loves its shape and promised to use this to fill his sensory needs instead of his hand or shirt. It went great the first day, but he experienced a backslide after that. I was surprised the chews came on the anticipated delivery date since it was so close to the holidays. Definitely loved the timely delivery.

My 4-year-old ASD kiddo was constantly chewing on his fingers and his Occupational Therapist suggested a chewie. He LOVES Lego, so we thought we would give this a try. It is perfect! They shipped quickly and came even better than described. We are ordering another one and I highly recommend these!

Exactly what we needed!
I bought this for my son who is struggling with sitting still and focusing in Pre-K. He is an active kid and school is already proving to be a challenge. In school, he has been chewing on his shoe laces, his sleeves, and his lower lip. Our neighbor who has a daughter in his class and carpools with us suggested this product. She is a speech therapist and works with kids with similar issues. When the package came our son was so excited. So far so good.
