Our chew necklaces and pencil toppers are a great way to satisfy your sensory oral needs on the go, at school, or at home. Our chews can be used as oral fidgets or an alternative to oral habits such as biting, thumbsucking, or pacifier usage. The chews have been known to help sustain attention during learning or play by providing input to the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

I wanted to update my original review (title: Very helpful) posted on May 27 but it doesn't look like I can do that, so I'm writing another review! I received the help I needed from customer support and I appreciated their thoughtful email. The sensory chew necklace really is a good product.

Very helpful
My 4-year-old has Down syndrome and often slides her jaw and bites her toys and spoons. The chewy tubes help, but it's great that TalkTools has offered a product that she can use herself. She still prefers to chew on her spoons or toys, but she accepts the sensory chew necklace (Sloth, Strong - Pink Lemonade) most of the time when it is offered, which is great because when she chews on this there is no sliding of her jaw (unlike when she chews on other things!). My only complaint is that I had written to customer support to try to get some advice on what durability might be best for my child based on the chewy tubes she is using or what she likes to chew on, but did not get a reply so I had to guess. If they are unable to reply to emails, it would help if they had a description of the different kinds of durability on the page. But other than that, I'm glad that they offered this.

I'm an OT and also a chronic shirt chewer. I have been since I was small. These are FANTASTIC and I've recommended them to several clients and use it myself when I find the desire to chew shirts. I love that there are so many colors in different strengths so you aren't limited to just one in Medium for example. Great product!
